Here is a small overview of several message areas where "something's going on", or that offer very high-quality information in the opinion of the webmaster. In addition, there is a smaller selection from other message networks, local and regional areas and the Usenet. The purpose of this section is to generate interest and permit browsing without the necessity of going through the mammoth message area lists of the FTN or news reader.
